Get In the Mood this Veteran’s Day as Up In Lights Productions Inc. takes over the Rialto Theatre with a special presentation of the musical review, The All Night Strut on November 10, 11, and 12 at 7:30pm and Nov. 13 at 2:30pm.  The All Night Strut will be a time to commemorate and pay tribute to our veterans with thrilling music and dance that has helped heal and shape generations.  From coast to coast, in dance clubs, Broadway shows, and major motion pictures, folks young and old are rediscovering the Lindy Hop, the Shag and the Tango. Yes, Swing’s the Thing! And nowhere more than in this classy, sassy musical celebration of the 1930s and ‘40s. 

The All Night Strut! struts it stuff in a two act bonanza that carries us through the Depression, World War ll and the post war boom. An international hit, The All Night Strut! is a slick slice of yesteryear with sublime music and unbeatable energy that’s perfect for the new generation of Swing fans as well as die-hard devotees! The same high energy and dance that people have come to expect from Up In Lights will be present, along with the improvisational acting and incredible singing of your favorite 30’s and 40’s hits.

The cast includes, Stephanie Ackerman, Cindy Garcia, Chloe Pepperd, Elyse Miller, Britni Rhodes and Kristin Winchester.  Along with Travis Burch, Jeremy Girard, Josh Kolb, Michael MacBeth, Craig Shimek and Dan Sheahan.  The cast comes from all over Northern Colorado including, Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont and Boulder.  

The show will include a live swing band on stage with musicians from all over Northern Colorado.  Including Nikki Mugno, Brandon Vandenberg, Brian Moore, Matt Crandall, and many more.  Director and Choreographer for the show is Britni Rhodes, Music Direction is by Jeremy Girard, with Vocal Jazz Direction by Kalli Flanigan.  Costume design and creation is by Debbie Russell.  Lighting Design is by Thomas of Fort Collins Technical Theater.  In-House Technical Director is Scott Dunn.     

After the United States' involvement in the Vietnam War, the emphasis on holiday activities has shifted. There are fewer military parades and ceremonies held to commemorate this holiday.  Join with us in acknowledging the veteran’s that have served our country, in a celebration that is long overdue!  This is a benefit concert for the Veteran’s Memorial Fund of Loveland.  With many projects approaching during the holidays the needs for the Veteran’s Associations include funds for a Memorial Wall being built and dedicated this weekend in Loveland, as well as Food Baskets during Holidays.
